as of now, i can only think of two actors that
i think fit the 2 the hunger games characters..

Katniss Everdeen - Keira Knightley
Peeta Mellark - Johnny Depp

yeah they have been seen before in the pirates of the
caribbean movie sequels...

^^And they're both like, 20 years too old. Kat and Peeta are TEENAGERS! And Johnny isn't the right material to be Peeta. He's good as a creepy yet hillarious semi-good guy, not a sweet and caring lovestrick teenage boy.
Which is why, if they make it, I'm on Alex Pettyfer's side. My oh my, that boy is smoking.

I want an unknown, for sure. If it is a well known actress I won't see it (ESPECIALLY if it's a Disney person or Kristin Stewart).

Peeta:
No Peeta satisfies me XD. In my opinion, all teenage blonde guys are ugly.

@ Thresh Rue is African American. I think Yara Shahidi should play Rue.

While I agree with some of your choices for main characters like Haymitch, Rue, and Prim, when reading the books, I think of Tania Raymonde as Katniss Everdeen. She plays Alex Rousseau (Ben's "daughter") on "Lost." Here's a picture of her in character, which is how I picture Katniss: http://images.wikia.com/lost/images/6/65/TaniaRaymonde.jpg

good! i'm glad to read that someone else thinks so

i go back and forth with actors/actresses for the other parts; however, when i began CF, i thought maybe Peter O'Toole for president snow. although president snow may have so much cosmetic surgery from being a person from the capitol, i kind of think that he would still look old, despite his altered lips. kind of like how meryl streep went white-haired for "The Devil Wears Prada, because it was kind of anti-fashion fashion. you get me?

Idk, not sure I like this choice really... I like the idea of an unknown better. I will add that the unknown better be able to act though

I love Lost too!
However, I think Alex looks too old for Katniss, personally.

Caroline Labrum should play Prim!
