Character Choices for THGM

I mean, the only thing I'm really missing is the extremely long hair... but there's hair extentions for that haha

No, I saw myself as Prim, so don't worry about it.

So you have black hair, olive skin, grey eyes, etc.?

She doesn't really look like the way I imagined Prim.

I either want Elle Fanning, Darcy Rose Byrnes, Brooklynn Proulx, or Ashley Rose Ballard to play Prim. Besides Elle Fanning, the rest of my choices were kind of based on looks, not acting so...

I picture Liz Gillies as Katniss. She has this tough look, yet she can also look very sweet.
When reading, that's always how I pictured Katniss.

For Rue, I thought of Maddison Pettis while reading!
She was the first person I pictured when I started thinking of Rue...

I don't really agree with any of those, but meh. It's a book.
Katniss has black hair... and no one has black hair and is caucasian. XD Katniss is hard. But I pictured her with black hair... Liz wouldn't look natural with black hair.

Abigail just isn't Prim for me... And neither is Elle, but again, that's just me. Abigail doesn't look like that anymore, either. She's brunette now...

I imagined Rue darker...

Noo, not a downer. It's your opinion, every has their own.
And yeah it is hard to find actors/actresses to really match up the book characters.
Everyone has their own image of the characters burned into their head...once we see who they pick, people will either love 'em or hate 'em.
I'm so curious to know who they'll get

^ Me, too. I really hope for unknowns, because I think the least amount of people possible will be unhappy with them.

Well, for Katniss I kind of hope she's an unknown. Liz sorta looks a little Katniss-y, but IDK.

A lot of people say that Abigail Breslin wouldn't be a good Prim, but actually, if she did dye her hair blonde, I think she would actually look a lot like Prim. I mean, she's 14 I believe, but she still looks a little like Prim. I mean, in a lot of movies, there's 30 year olds playing 17 year olds so I don't see why a 14 year old would have trouble playing a 12 year old.
Though, I do think Elle would be a good Prim.
Other than that, Brookylnn Proulx and Darcy Rose Byrnes look a lot like Prim, though I've never seen either of them act.

And for Rue, I think Maddison Pettis looks a lot like her, but I just wouldn't want her to play Rue because she's too...Disney...if you know what I mean. I think that either Yara Shahidi or China Anderson would be good for Rue.
